Embedded Software Engineer Connectivity
What are you going to do?
The embedded software engineer connectivity will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating and testing the embedded software for (existing and next generation) connectivity products (for example roomcontrollers like Easy and Smart) in their product development phase.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable.
- Proficient in English (verbally and in writing). Knowledge of German is preferred.
- Knowledge of software debugging tools
- Knowledge of different micro-controller architectures
- Knowledge of Control algorithms
- Experience in a product development environment.
Required knowledge competencies and attributes
- Expertise in real-time embedded software design and development using C/C++
- Proficient in configuration and use of embedded software development tool chains and debugging environments (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket)
- Write new product embedded software specifications and internal technical documentation in coordination with engineering team
- Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, to indentify control signals and processor inputs
- Knowledge of Wireless protocols like WiFi, Zigbee and 868.
- Pro-active attitude
- Good communication skills
- Agile mindset
- Experience with the SAFE framework and working with Scrum is a pre.
- Experience as Scrum Master within a team of developers is a pre.
