Control Software Engineer

What are you going to do?

In this role you will be part of several multidisciplinary project teams and you will focus on the development and optimization of (application) to include automatic burner software, human interface, sophisticated room thermostats and external modules. You preparing research plans and prototypes performs measurements and calculations and gives presentations and progress reports. You maintain contacts with other departments, at both national and international levels. Here you look beyond your own department and field. Finally, recognize your timely bottlenecks in engineering and planning and you will be able to communicate this transparently and resolve.

You:

  • A completed training at college / university level, the direction of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar.
  • 2-5 years work experience in the development of application software, within (technical) product development organization(s).
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and C(++) programming language.
  • Knowledge of Control algorithms
  • Experience in control- and/or embedded software engineering.
  • You have knowledge of measurement and control, state diagrams, schemes and fuzzy PID arrangements and experience of methodical work.
  • You have excellent communication and analytical skills and are persuasive, persistent and pragmatic.
  • Given the international field, we will assume that you have good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Good communication skills and team player.
  • Accurate work attitude.
  • Curious mindset.
  • Be critical in analyzing the test input and output.
  • Agile mindset preferable knowledge and experience with the SAFE framework.
