Interim Android Developer

The Interim Android Developer will be responsible for providing insight into the tools and processes used for building mobile applications.

Responsibilities will include the maintenance of mobile applications (iOS) Android, Web Apps) and implementation of best practices in the development of enterprise mobile apps. In addition, compile, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide the evolution of infrastructure, products, and services by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and develop in closely contact with ECT connectivity team enterprise mobile web (HTML5, JS, CSS) and native iOS (Objective C), Android (Java) mobile applications. At this moment we need an Android Developer!
• Design leading product ordering solutions with a strong focus on optimum security, performance and scalability
• Provide technical problem resolution to complex issues
• Ensure our mobile U/X is elegant and productive
• Assist delivery/engagement leads in coming up with accurate / predictable development plan for achieving major release milestones
• Analyze business requirements and create design documents
• Work with ECT connectivity team to plan integration and implementation strategies
• Act as technical lead for medium to large projects

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical HBO/WO degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics
• A minimum of 3 years of experience for example using Java,.NET and/or C++, web services. At this moment we need an Android Developer!
• A minimum of 3 years working in a commercial software development environment
• Experience with User Interface and API based frameworks
• Familiarity with Control and Real-time operating system environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience with HTML5
• Experience with IOS and/or Android development
• Experience with Ethernet communications protocols and software
• Experience with configuration management, design, development and testing tools
• Familiar with embedded software development and tools
