Performance simulation engineer

The job

Our group is growing, and that is great, but it also poses some challenges. Everything we build needs to work at scale from day one now. To do this, we need to be able to simulate production usage patterns in a controlled environment at any time.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about performance and has a creative mind. We need you to build (or find) us the tools and platform to test our software at scale.

You will be working on generating automated scripts that simulate real usage and building the platform to run those scripts to simulate thousands of users’ concurrent actions.

Due to the complex nature of our applications, writing the scripts by hand would not provide an accurate simulation.

You will be responsible for figuring out how to tackle this problem, but you will work closely together with our software teams.

This position is remote or on-site (we will support your relocation). Though the position is stated as temporary, we have plenty of roles to move into that are more permanent if you are a good fit.

Speaking Dutch is not a requirement.
